 What do we do?

The National Grid has evolved in recent times at a very fast rate, mainly with decentralised renewable energy feeding back in to it. Bygen Power assists with the balancing of this green power by providing fast flexible generation that is remotely deployed within a matter of seconds in order to balance the national grid and assist in keeping the lights on around the country.

How is this done?

Through development of state of the art small diesel and gas power stations that are strategically located throughout the country. These power stations are contracted by National Grid to allow them to call on us in times of system stress.

This form of power generation allows the proliferation of renewable energy such as wind and solar without having to build coal and nuclear power stations.
